Appleland Montessori Childcare Centre aims to create a stimulating, conducive, safe, healthy, cheerful and comfortable learning environment for the children’s physical, intellectual, emotional and social development through:

In Appleland Montessori our classroom objective is approached in two ways:

By allowing each child to experience the excitement of learning by his own choice rather than by being forced;
By helping the child to perfect all his natural tools for learning so that his ability will be at a maximum in future learning situations.

By providing both Montessori and Early Childhood programmes, the centre not only creates choices for the parents, it also provides a comprehensive, wholesome and well-balanced early childhood education. We provide a wide range of age appropriate materials and activities, which help the child match, stretch and celebrate the Multiple Intelligences. These materials and activities also encourage aesthetic awareness.

Appleland Montessori Childcare centre’s Montessori Programme recognizes the learning potential of a young child. As such, the centre utilizes professionally trained teachers and specially designed teaching materials to help the child realize the potential.

Montessori also recognizes in children a natural curiosity and desire to learn. The Montessori Materials awaken this desire and channel that curiosity into a learning experience which children enjoy. Montessori Materials help children understand what they learn by associating an abstract concept with a concrete sensorial experience. In this manner, the Montessori Programme also stresses that children learn and progress at their own pace.
